Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is looking to fill more than 2,000 seasonal positions ahead of its May 8 season opening, the amusement park announced during National Hiring Week.

The hiring campaign for the Lehigh Valley attraction runs through Feb. 22. It’s part of a larger effort by parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corp. to recruit more than 50,000 workers across its parks in North America for the 2026 season.

“Recent investments across the park — from new attractions to enhanced guest amenities — make this an especially exciting time to join our team,” said Makeva Brodie, human resources director at Dorney Park. “With more than 2,000 seasonal roles available, we offer a wide range of opportunities that allow applicants to match their skills and interests with the right position.”

Job seekers can apply online at sixflagsjobs.com using Six Flags’ Rapid Hiring Program, which allows applicants to complete interview questions remotely. The park is offering virtual hiring opportunities to expedite the process during National Hiring Week, which began Saturday, Feb. 14, and continues through Sunday, Feb. 22.

Starting wages begin at $11.50 per hour, with select positions paying $14.50 per hour. Team members receive free park admission for themselves and friends, along with discounts on park purchases and flexible scheduling. The positions are open to applicants 15 years and older, and the park provides paid training.

Brodie said the park in South Whitehall Township aims to build a team focused on creating positive guest experiences while forming connections with coworkers.

Six Flags operates 26 amusement parks, 15 water parks and nine resort properties across 16 states in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
