Nativity’s Pat Mason was announced as an assistant coach for the Pennsylvania team in this spring’s PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic.

The 69th PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic is taking place on Sunday, May 24 at Cumberland Valley High School’s Chapman Field in Cumberland County, PA with kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

Mason will be the only Schuylkill County football representative for the Pennsylvania team.

Mason led Nativity to a 4-7 overall record this past fall with league wins over Pine Grove, Shenandoah Valley and Mahanoy Area. The Green Wave finished the 2024-25 season with a 6-5 overall record under Mason.

Gateway’s Don Hall was announced as the head coach of the Pennsylvania team while Ligionier Valley’s Roger Beitel, Lackawanna Trail’s Steve Jervis, Annville-Cleona’s Matt Gingrich, Philipsburg-Osceola’s Jeff Vroman, Central Bucks South’s Tom Hetrick and Brashear’s Andrew Moore were announced as coaches.

District 11 football will be represented by Southern Lehigh offensive lineman Carter Giberson, Lansdale Catholic linebacker Darren Jackson and Allentown Central Catholic safety Luis Martinez.
