Rosemary Veres, 87, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026.
Born on April 1, 1938, in Coulter, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Mary Homonai.
Rosemary lived her life with devotion to her family and joy in the simple pleasures that made her happiest. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother whose home was always centered around care, laughter, and togetherness. Nothing brought her greater pride than her children and grandchildren, who were the true treasures of her heart.
She was an avid Bingo player and a familiar, friendly face at the Broughton Volunteer Fire Hall Bingo in South Park, where she enjoyed many evenings with her bingo friends. Rosemary also loved trips to the casino, where she delighted in trying her luck, and she never passed up an opportunity for a shopping trip to Macy’s.
Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Eugene Veres, whom she was married to for 65 years; her loving children, Jeffrey (Cindy) Veres, Sherrie (Gary) Namiotka, and Jennifer (John) Marshall; and her cherished grandchildren, Lia (Kyle) Dickson, Allie (Thomas) Nye, Alyssa (Ben) Barsh, Bristol Marshall, Aspen Marshall, and Charley Marshall. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Homonai, and her brother, Frank Homonai.
Rosemary’s warmth, steady love, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, Pa.
