Lee Ann Shemonski
OBITUARY
Lee Ann Shemonski, 57, of Jessup died Thursday morning at Geisinger CMC after an illness.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Richard Shemonski, Jessup and the late Arlene Shemonski.
Lee Ann enjoyed music, polka dancing, swimming, bowling and watching Annie and the Three Stooges. She especially loved going to her ARC Program. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Majernick, Geisinger Hospital and the St. Joseph’s Center, her caretakers, nurses, doctors and staff for their kind, compassionate, and extraordinary care.
Also surviving are her siblings; Denise Puthorosky and husband John, Olyphant; Paul Shemonski, Jessup, Michael Shemonski and wife Karen, Jessup; her nieces and nephew, Ashley Puthorosky, Izabella, Ryley and Michael Shemonski; her aunts and uncle, Pat Gaul, Debbie Smith, and Paul Szymonski.
The funeral will be private as per the wishes of her family. Memorial contributions and donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Center, 320 S. Blakely St. Dunmore, PA 18512, in Lee Anns name. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, Jessup.
