AND EVEN THOUGH THEY LIVE JUST UP THE HILL BEHIND ME, THEY TELL ME THEY COULD STILL HEAR THIS MORNING’S COMMOTION. I WAS KIND OF REALLY SHOOK UP. IT REALLY SHOOK ME UP. YOU KNOW, ACCORDING TO EMS SCANNERS, CREWS WERE CALLED OUT HERE AROUND 145 THIS MORNING. NANCY ATHERTON SAYS SHE JUST HAPPENED TO BE UP AT THE TIME WATCHING A MOVIE. I HEARD SIRENS AND EVERYTHING, AND I CAME OUTSIDE TO LOOK AND THERE WAS POLICE CARS EVERYWHERE DOWN THERE, AND THERE WAS AN AMBULANCE THERE. AND I HEARD A POOR LADY SCREAMING, AND IT JUST JUST BROKE MY HEART. SHE’S LIVED AT THE SUNSET COURT APARTMENTS AND TOWNHOMES FOR OVER A DECADE, AND SAYS SHE WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE CRIME SCENE TAPE SURROUNDING THE FRONT PARKING LOT. NEWS 8 CREWS CAPTURED THE SPREAD OUT EVIDENCE MARKERS PLACED ALL OVER THE GROUND, AND TROOPERS FOCUSING ON THIS WHITE CAR. ATHERTON SAYS THEY WERE HERE FOR HOURS. THERE WAS A GOOD MANY. We now know two teens were charged in connection with the deadly shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Franklin County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers said the victim was shot in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Valley Pine Court in Greene Township around 1:44 a.m. on Monday. The scene is near the Sunset Court Apartments and Townhomes. According to police, a 15-year-old boy was shot multiple times. Despite life-saving efforts, the teen died from his injuries, officials said. His name has not yet been released. Officials were at the scene for an extended time investigating. More than a dozen crime scene markers were placed in the area.
