PITTSBURGH, PA — One of Pittsburgh’s most luxurious restaurants has opened a more relaxed dining space inside its carriage house.

The Hyeholde in Coraopolis has debuted The Tavern, which features dark wood and a fireplace. According to its website, The Tavern’s focus is on “small plates, bold flavors creative cocktails and a more affordable price point, designed for conversation, flexibility and time will spent.”

The Taven’s menu includes grilled octopus, veal osso buco, lamb cassoulet, oysters and smoked cod chowder.

On Fridays during Lent, The Tavern is offering a fish fry special available at $30 per patron.
