BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The date for this year’s Parade of Shamrocks in Bethlehem has been set.

Celtic Cultural Alliance said Tuesday the 16th Annual Parade of Shamrocks is set to step off on Saturday, March 14 at 1 p.m. in the streets of Historic Downtown Bethlehem.

The parade will feature pipe bands, marching bands, Irish dancers, and local cultural and community organizations, according to a news release from the Celtic Cultural Alliance.

The Celtic Cultural Alliance in partnership with The City of Bethlehem will present the parade live.

Participant registration is open and all are welcome, the organization says.

The alliance says community organizations, Girl & Boy Scout Troops, school teams & clubs, dance schools and local businesses are encouraged to join the shenanigans.

Participants are encouraged to hand out information, and every group will be recognized on the Astound Broadband television broadcast, according to the news release.
