THE PLAYERS FROM EDGEWOOD, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, THEY FEEL LIKE THEY LEFT THE COURT WITH A WINNING FEELING. AND HERE’S WHY. WITH THE GAME ALL BUT DECIDED, THE LIONS HEAD COACH LEARNED ONE OF THE PLAYERS IN THE HOME, WHITE WAS A SENIOR WHO HAD PLAYED VERY LITTLE. HE ASKED HIS PLAYERS IF THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE THE GIRL THE BALL, GIVING HER A CHANCE TO SCORE. THEY AGREED A TEAM EFFORT LEADING TO THAT BASKET AND A MOMENT THAT EVERYONE ON THE COURT CELEBRATED.
