It snowed again Sunday night in the Lehigh Valley. But unlike other such events this winter, this one has warmer weather right behind it.
Most areas of the Valley received a coating to an inch of snow, though some areas saw more than two inches. Much of that, along with some of the piles of snow that have been hanging around for the last few weeks, should be melting away over the course of this week.
“Above normal temperatures are expected for most of this week and should continue into next weekend,” the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, said in its forecast discussion.
Good morning! Precipitation has moved out and today should be dry. After today, a stretch of above normal temperatures takes over, with multiple chances for rain later this week. #NJwx #PAwx #MDwx #DEwx pic.twitter.com/iBupoO6ILP

The NWS expects highs in the mid 40s to low 50s in the Philadelphia region through Saturday. Specifically, the Lehigh Valley will see temperatures in the high 40s. Evening lows will be above freezing.
Helping wash away the snow is needed rain, which should be coming later in the week.
“After over two weeks now with snow on the ground, these warmer temperatures will allow the snowpack to melt quicker and most spots likely will be rid of snow by this weekend,” the NWS said.
Temperatures are expected to be more seasonal next week.
