Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scranton celebrated Dorothy Evans, who turned 101 on Feb. 5, and Margaret Marsala, who turned 101 on Feb. 6, surrounded by family and friends. Evans was born and raised in Scranton, and is a retired RN from Mercy Hospital and has six children. Marsala, a retired sewing machine operator, is one of eight children and has several nieces and nephews; her surviving sister, Pearl, recently turned 97 and paid her a surprise visit from Green Ridge Health Care Center.
