Ann Barbara (Phillips) Perechinsky

OBITUARY

Ann Barbara (Phillips) Perechinsky, 90, formerly of Lake Ariel, passed away Feb. 15, 2026, at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa. She was the widow of Paul Perechinsky, who died on Sept. 9, 2021. Ann was a graduate of Jessup High School and Lackawanna Junior College. After spending most of her working life as a seamstress, Ann later pursued her dream of nursing and became a licensed practical nurse. She then worked at Mercy Hospital in Scranton until her retirement.

Born in Passaic, N.J., Ann spent most of her life in Jessup then at Lake Spangenberg. During her retirement years, Ann enjoyed baking cakes for any occasion, preparing hors d’oeuvres, sending cards for every holiday, hosting afternoon happy hours on the porch and, most importantly, spending summer visits with her three grandsons. She continued using her nursing skills as a caretaker for her relatives, especially her mother-in-law, Mary Perechinsky, her stepmother, Anne Phillips, and her aunt Ann Enka Sewack. She was also known for her extensive and well-cataloged collection of home videos and photographs. She and her husband were parishioners of St. Eulalias Parish.

Ann was preceded in death by her son, Paul, Jr.; husband, Paul; birth mother, Elizabeth (Wallo) Poli; and her adoptive parents, Stephen and Julia (Sewack) Phillips. Ann is survived by her sister, Karen Carroll, of Harding, Pa.; and brother, Richard Poli, of Furlong, Pa. Ann is also survived by her daughter, Julann Robison and husband, Darryl, of Baltimore, Md.; three grandsons, Drew Robison and wife, Sarah, of Baltimore; Matthew Robison and wife, Emmy, of Granger, In.; Christopher Robison and wife, Renee, of Baltimore; and five great-grandchildren, Henry, Margot, Nash, Lucy, and Jasper.

Anns family would like to thank the many, many family members, friends from Jessup, and neighbors at the lake for always being there for us you know who you are.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Eulalias Church, 214 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Twp.
