Global Leadership Academy students are taking a trip to Ghana, in West Africa, as part of their Black History Month curriculum, connecting classroom lessons to the continent where so much of that history began. Dr. Naomi Johnson Booker, the school’s founder, tells Wakisha Bailey these international trips are “the pinnacle of what we do.”
