CLEVELAND — “STAY OFF THE LAKE ERIE ICE!”
That’s the message being shared by the National Weather Service in Cleveland with dangerous ice conditions possible on Lake Erie through Friday.
“The ice has been weakened by recent warm conditions and southwest winds are expected to increase today,” according to a Facebook post from the National Weather Service on Wednesday morning. “Ice may break away from shore or the Lake Erie Islands, leaving people stranded. People are advised to stay off the ice.”
