Construction
Construction management and building systems and design are two noncredit certificate programs offered by continuing education that provide high-quality learning opportunities for individuals currently working in the construction industry, as well as those seeking to enter the field. These programs emphasize practical, hands-on instruction in areas such as construction safety, project fundamentals and industry-relevant skills that align with employer needs.
Tyler D., a recent student, said, “The building systems certificate program combined classroom learning with hands-on projects, and the instructors shared practical examples I could immediately apply to my work. Seeing how others approached the same challenges gave me new perspectives, and earning this certificate through my alma mater was an added bonus. I’d highly recommend the program to early-career professionals.”
Ten students earned a construction certificate in 2025, helping to advance their careers in the construction field.
