SPRING TWP., Pa. – District officials say students at Wilson High School in Spring Township are facing disciplinary action after staging a walkout today.

The district says it was in talks with students about a potential anti-ICE demonstration last week but was later told it would no longer take place.

Despite that, the district says about 60 students left class without permission and held a protest in front of the school.

District officials say the demonstration was peaceful and all students returned to class shortly after.
