Chloe Mamera had 22 points to lead top-seeded Scranton Prep to a 61-15 victory over No. 8 Hanover Area in the District 2 Class 4A girls basketball quarterfinals Wednesday night at Scranton Prep.

Eva Kaszuba added 11 points, and Shannon Bestrycki chipped in nine for the Classics (18-6).

Symone Mims had 11 points for the Hawkeyes (6-17).

Scranton Prep will host No. 4 Honesdale on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the semifinals.

Valley View 50, Mid Valley 9: At Valley View, Cora Castellani had 21 points, five rebounds, five steals and one block to lead the No. 2 Cougars to a victory over the No. 7 Spartanettes (5-18) in the Class 4A quarterfinals.

Ava Gazoo had six points and five steals, Sadie Cardoni had four points, five rebounds, five steals and one block, Mady Minelli had five points and six steals and Ashlan Palickar had four points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals for Valley View (18-5).

Mackenzie Richards and Julie Prisco each had three points for Mid Valley.

Valley View will host No. 3 Nanticoke Area, a 51-13 winner over No. 6 Tunkhannock, on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Honesdale 62, Wyoming Area 31: At Honesdale, Olivia Reed and Ruby Martin each had 16 points to lead the No. 4 Lady Hornets to a win in the Class 4A quarterfinals.

Lily Murray added 14 points, while Karsyn Kromko tacked on nine points for Honesdale (17-6).

Jailynn Park had 16 points for the No. 5 Warriors (8-15).

Class 5A

Julia Biko had 13 points to lead No. 3 North Pocono to a 47-13 victory over No. 6 Berwick in the District 2 Class 5A quarterfinals at North Pocono.

Anna Clementoni added 11 points, while Celia DeCesare chipped in eight for the Lady Trojans (20-4).

Ashlyn Zakrewsky had five points for the Bulldogs (8-15).

No. 2 Dallas will host North Pocono in the semifinals Saturday.

Dallas 45, Wallenpaupack 22: At Dallas, Mia DelGaudio and Odessa Kanton each had 12 points to lead the No. 2 Mountaineers to a win in the Class 5A quarterfinals.

Molly Walsh added 10 points for Dallas (20-3).

Ashley Vanderputten had six points for the No. 7 Lady Buckhorns (8-15).
