Firefighters battled a blaze that severely damaged a home in Montgomery County late Tuesday night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Delmont Drive in Lower Merion Township.

Crews say it began on the second floor of the home when some window shades caught fire and quickly spread through the roof.

Everyone inside was able to safely evacuate.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
