The popular Philly cheesesteak restaurant Angelo’s celebrated its official debut in Wilmington this week.

On Wednesday, the Wilmington community gathered for the grand reopening of DE.CO Food Hall, which now features Angelo’s among its dining options.

DE.CO is a food hall offering a variety of restaurant stalls and one full-service restaurant, all within walking distance of Rodney Square.

Mayor John Carney joined business leaders and community members for the “first bite” ceremony.

He said the city is proud to welcome DE.CO’s newest addition, investing further in Wilmington’s vibrant dining scene and growing its reputation as a food destination.

Angelo’s Wilmington will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
