Today at the Erie International Airport, local elected officials met with members of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership to give updates on flights going to and from Erie.
The airport’s executive director, Derek Martin, stated that the airport is seeing passenger numbers that are exceeding those from before the pandemic.
He says it has been a “successful last two years,” and with the ability to offer flights to and from Orlando and Chicago, they are now looking to add even more. The next major city they hope to offer flights to and from is Washington, D.C.
