OBITUARY
Tuzylene Betty Wonnie (Bangura), 88, of Reading passed away on January 25, 2026, at her home. She was the loving wife to Rev. Donald Samuel Wonnie, who passed February 19, 2012. Born in Taiama, Sierra Leone, Tuzylene was the daughter of the late, PA Ansumana Bangura and Ya Kaday Koroma.
Tuzylene is survived by her children, Mariam Wonnie, of Sinking Spring, David N. Wonnie, of Minnesota, and Donna J. Wah, of Sinking Spring. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Service for Tuzylene will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM in Holy Cross United Methodist Church, 329 N. 5th Street, Reading, PA 19601. The family will receive guests in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, In Holy Cross United Methodist, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. Interment will be held in Bo, Sierra Leone. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Tuzylene’s memory to Holy Cross United Methodist Church.
