Easton police warn of tainted beef sticks

EASTON, Pa. (WPVI) — Police in Easton, Northampton County, are warning some pet owners to be vigilant as they walk their animals.

Officials found more beef sticks stuffed with fishhooks and razors on the ground in downtown Easton.

One woman’s dog swallowed three razors and needed emergency surgery.

Police arrested Joseph Janko-Hudson, 47, on animal cruelty charges last week.

They said the newly emerging sticks are also from him.

Now that the snow is melting, more of the dangerous treats could be revealed.
