ALLENTOWN, LEHIGH CO. (WOLF) — A 27-year-old Carbon County man died Thursday evening following a head-on collision in Lehigh County, authorities said.
Oneil D. Fletcher, of Lansford, was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2026, in the emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said Fletcher was driving a vehicle that collided head-on with another car around 6:16 p.m. along Route 100, just north of Wertman Road in Upper Macungie Township.
An autopsy determined that Fletcher died from multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was ruled accidental.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center, Upper Macungie Township Police, the Lehigh County Accident Reconstruction Team, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
