A crash has shut down a stretch of Interstate 81 in Lebanon County. Dispatchers said the wreck happened in the southbound lanes in Swatara Township at 4:18 a.m. on Friday. According to PennDOT, Interstate 81 southbound is closed between Exit 100, Route 443/Pine Grove, and Exit 90, Route 72/Lebanon. PennDOT extended the estimated reopening time to 12:30 p.m. It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved and if anyone was injured. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating. Dispatchers said the wreck happened in the southbound lanes in Swatara Township at 4:18 a.m. on Friday.
