SCRANTON — The second annual block party in the 100 block of North Washington Avenue is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Scranton Tomorrow officials announced.
The event will feature sidewalk sales, live music, food and children’s activities, officials said.
Participating businesses include the Garden Restaurant, Mutant Brewing, Rain Tree, Runway Boutique and Tachi Hill.
Joy World Wealth Partners will host a pop-up with Electric City Sweets and Over The Moon will host a children’s holiday fashion show at noon, officials said.
Scranton Tomorrow held block parties on Biden Street on July 19 and Adams Avenue on July 26. A block party was also held in the 100 block of North Washington last October.
