Mildred DiRomualdo

OBITUARY

Mildred DiRomualdo, 88, of Allentown, died on February 18, 2026 at home. She was the wife of Chester DiRomualdo for 54 years before he passed in 2014. Born in Mahanoy City, PA (Schuylkill Co.), “Millie” was the daughter of Wasyl and Sophie (Mauser) Samus. Millie was an elementary school teacher at St. Paul’s elementary school for decades. She was a 1959 graduate of Penn State University and was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

Millie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. She was renowned for her incredible Penn State tailgates, her delicious recipes, and her passion for all things family. She was a talented artist that bestowed treasured artwork to her family that they will cherish forever. She loved to play cards, enjoyed the seashore, and any baby in the room ended up in her arms. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors: Children, Lori A. Marshall and her husband, William of Jim Thorpe, PA, and Mark L. DiRomualdo of Allentown; Grandchildren, Gregory Marshall and his wife, Jazmin, and Sarah Marshall and her fiancé, Matthew Wachman; Great-Grandchildren, Sophia and Amelia; Nieces and Nephews close to her heart, John McCarthy, Mary Meder and Patricia Nawa and their Families. Mildred was predeceased by a son, Matthew, in 1974.

Services: 9:30 am Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, PA. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville, PA.
