PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania fencing programs wrap up the regular season this weekend, heading to Broad Street for the Temple Invitational on Sunday, Feb. 22.

*Penn battled at the Ivy League Championships at Princeton earlier this month, with the men and women taking fifth place each as a team.
 
*Individually, freshman Simon Lioznyansky led the charge for men in Old Nassau, earning tied third place in epee to land First Team All-Ivy, while junior Joseph Wu placed tied fifth in epee to grab Second Team All-Ivy.
 
*Freshman Conrad Lo landed seventh place in foil, and Antonio Heathcock garnered tied ninth in saber to round out the Quakers in the top ten.
 
*Juniors Grace Hu and Victoria Kuznetsov led the women, sitting in a tie for seventh in epee. Freshman Lila Paul grabbed ninth place in the saber field to round out the Red and Blue in the top ten to end the championships.
 
*On the men’s side, freshman Lioznyansky leads the epee weapons with a 37-12 record, Ben Kogan leads the saber athletes with a 37-20 record, and freshman Lo leads the foil field with a 27-13 record.
 
*For the women, junior Hu leads epee with a 53-19 record, Leah Blum leads the saber athletes with a 35-12 record, and Kimberley Jang leads the foil field with a 34-25 record.
