Scranton firefighters rushed to the scene of a two-alarm fire in the 600 block of Prospect Avenue at about 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The fire started in a bedroom on the top floor of the residence. When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof, according to scanner reports.

No one was injured in the fire, but several families were displaced, reports indicated.
