Several people are without a home tonight after a fire in Scranton.
Assistant Fire Chief with the Scranton Fire Department says crews were called around 5 pm to the 600 block of Prospect Ave.
The fire could be seen on the third floor and in the building’s attic.
The building had six apartments, with some people inside at the time of the fire.
Everyone made it out safely, and several pets were rescued as well.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
