A Toyota sedan driven by a Cambridge resident hit another car and flipped over, according to witness accounts. The accident took place at the intersection of Erie and Magazine streets Saturday afternoon.
Cambridge Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to reports of an accident around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to police Sgt. Robert Reardon. In an email on Sunday Reardon noted that the sedan had hit a parked vehicle before flipping over. Reardon stated that Fire Department personnel were able to extricate the driver from the vehicle. The driver, who has not been identified, “was taken to a a local hospital for treatment of injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.”
As of Sunday afternoon, Reardon said the accident’s cause is still under investigation.
