Comic Con descends on Lackawanna County, attracting pop culture fans to the Moon Tavern in Dickson City.

DICKSON CITY, Pa. — If you see superheroes walking down the street in Lackawanna County, don’t be alarmed. Comic Con is in town, and imagination is taking over. 

Pop culture enthusiasts attended the event at the Moon Tavern at the Days Inn in Dickson City.

Highlights included a ‘cosplay runway’, a vintage toy sale, and many star-studded guests, including Susanna Malak, an actress best known for her role as ‘Jawa’ in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

“I’m doing it for the people, friends, and family. I mean, the culture is just unbelievable with the support and all the different vendors and the cosplayers. It’s really, really sweet,” said Eric Kropiewnicki, of the Moon Tavern.

This was the third annual NEPA Comic-Con.
