Demolition begins on former Brass Rail restaurant in Allentown | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A Lehigh County institution whose doors closed back in 2022 is officially coming down.

Demolition officially began Thursday on the former Brass Rail restaurant building on Lehigh Street in Allentown.

Crews tell us the demo project will take about two weeks.

The Brass Rail opened a stand at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmer’s Market back in September.

A Wawa has been proposed to take the Brass Rail’s spot on Lehigh Street.
