Sara Majetich, professor of physics at Carnegie Mellon University, will present “Superparamagnetism in Nanoparticles and Magnetic Tunnel Junctions” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 25) in White Hall, Room G09.
A reception will also be held at 2 p.m. in White Hall, Room 111.
Majetich, a recipient of the NSF National Young Investigator Award, is the president-elect of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. She is also a fellow of the American Physical Society.
