All vehicle restrictions and 45 mph speed limit restrictions on roads across central Pennsylvania have been lifted following the snowstorm, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Monday morning.

The vehicle restrictions and speed limit restrictions had applied to roads in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties.

“Although PennDOT crews have been treating roadways, the department’s primary goal is to keep roads passable, and they will not completely free of ice and snow, the department said in a press release. “PennDOT will continue to treat roadways until roads are clear.”

The Pennsylvania Turnpike is now fully open, with all tier restrictions lifted, according to Marissa Orbanek, Pennsylvania Turnpike press secretary.
