A new restaurant opened right in our neighborhood here on State Street.
It’s called Marley’s Island and they are serving up Caribbean style food from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. at 3018 State Street.
On the menu, heir special chicken of course. But they also have steak and pineapple bowls and pina coladas.
The business is family owned and started with a successful food truck.
They said they’ve been prepping for months to open this brick and mortar location.
Once the word was out, people lined up outside for opening day.
James Zigler Jr said the name of the restaurant came to his uncle in a dream and now that dream is coming true.
