The first round of Matching Funds Program from VisitErie have been distributed to nine local businesses and organizations.
These recipients have received a total of $7,400 in matching funds to support event planning, promotional efforts, or operational needs for events to attract the visitor’s attention. Up to $1,000 requests were reviews and awards were distributed based on pre-established criteria.

Edinboro Art & Music Festival (EAMF): Downtown Edinboro Art & Music Festival, $1,000
Erie County Public Library: HistERIE 2026, $1,000
Erie County Veterans Memorial Park: Memorial Day Ceremony, $500
Erie’s Black Wall Street: Juneteenth Mix & Mingle, $1,000
Hurry Hill Farms: Maple Taste and Tour Celebrates America250, $900
Lilly Broadcasting: Wine on the Lake, $1,000
Monica Graves-Garcia: Sol Fest: Summer Solstice Celebration, $1,000
Presque Isle Audubon Society: Festival of the Birds, $500
Urban Ministries: The Gospel and Soul Traditional Music Festival, $500
The next round will be open to events taking place July 1 to Dec. 31, 2026. Applicants do not need to be VisitErie partners to apply. More information can be found here.
