A tractor-trailer crashed into a railroad bridge on Constitution Avenue in Jessup on Monday morning. Crews responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. for a report of a tractor-trailer rollover. Jessup Patrolman Vaughn Black said it appears the male driver left Blue Buffalo, a warehouse on Moosic Lake Road, before striking the bridge. At the time, it was unclear if the driver, who is from Georgia, had a medical incident, Black added. The driver — who was disoriented — was transported to a hospital, police said. Jessup Fire Chief Jim Anderson noted there are typically at least three to four instances per year when a tractor-trailer gets stuck under the bridge. Railroad officers on scene Monday morning said there was no damage and declined to comment further.
