From Center City to Northern Liberties, Philadelphia venues are embracing the Flower Show spirit with florally dressed dishes, garden-inspired sips and special packages designed to bloom alongside the main event.

Front Street Cafe

Anyone with a ticket to the floral extravaganza can enjoy a 10% discount on food with dishes like caramelized onion hummus, truffled mushroom lasagna and spicy fried chicken for dinner, along with fried banana bites, a braised brisket burrito, shrimp and grits and more for brunch.  In addition, a specialty weekend menu here will highlight edible florals incorporated into select cocktails and dishes for the run of the Flower Show.

Barbuzzo

Barbuzzo has concocted The French Farmer PT Deux for the celebration of horticulture. The sipper blends Tito’s vodka, st germain, gentian flower amaro and lemon juice, and Philadelphians can pair it with an assortment of fresh Mediterranean fare while here.

Kimpton Hotel Palomar

Flower lovers are in luck. In honor of the Flower Show, Kimpton Hotel Palomar is hosting a build-your-own bouquet activation in collaboration with The Philadelphia Flower Market. Set for this Saturday, Feb. 28, in the venue’s Living Room, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can craft their own arrangements ($15.99-$24.99), or opt for an assortment of pre-made bouquets ($15.99-$19.99.)

Libertee Grounds

Those who head to Libertee can play a round or two of mini golf, and then order up their special Flower Dish or cocktail for some fuel. The Greenhouse Banh Mi features a Thai chili fritter, chili/hot sesame oil, pickled banh mi vegetables, lettuce, herbs and vegan sriracha mayo on a seeded long roll. The meal is also served with fries. The Fleur de fizz, on the other hand, is comprised of tequila, hibiscus, lemon and bubbles.

Fringe Bar

The Philadelphia Flower Show has sparked inspiration for Fringe Bar in the form of a new cocktail and dish. The Fleur 75 is composed of Jasmine Bluecoat gin, strawberry oleo saccharum, fresh lemon juice and sparkling wine, while the Viet Shrimp Salad boasts thinly shredded cabbage and carrots, poached shrimp, red onion, cucumbers, cherry tomato, cilantro, basil, mint, jalapeños, Viet lime vinaigrette, fish sauce, peanuts and fried shallots.

Wilder

Flower Show fans can indulge in a couple of new menu items at Wilder. The Hibiscus Crudo, for one, features Hibiscus cured hamachi, hibiscus acqua pazza, apple, and lime, while the Touch Grass cocktail is made up of Nasturtium-infused Hendricks, sweet vermouth, maraschino and pink peppercorn.

Loews Philadelphia Hotel

Loews is offering a special stay package, cocktails and even a lunch deal for the botanical event. While at Bank & Bourbon, guests can sip on The Rose of Sharon (made with Mishka Vodka, yellow chartreuse, fresh lemon juice and house-made hibiscus simply syrup) or opt for a special $25 two-course lunch. Loews’ Flower Show Package, on the other hand, includes two tickets to the Show, two cocktails to enjoy at Bank & Bourbon and a complimentary room upgrade. Rates start at $299 a night.

Philly’s first social dart venue is offering up some special treats for Flower Show attendees.  Anyone who shows their tickets on the day of their visit can enjoy 10% off select cocktails, including the Fields Forever with Casamigos tequila, strawberry, basil, agave, and lime, and the Bramble Spritz with prosecco, St-Germain, blackberry, lemon, and soda.

This Center City spot is serving up a specialty sipper for the occasion. During the Flower Show, locals can order up the Lost in the Meadow cocktail featuring jasmine tea-infused gin, lavender syrup, lime juice, and Vegetal de la Grande-Chartreuse.

To celebrate all the floral fun happening in the city, Southwark has concocted the Thank You, Little Roots cocktail (clarified milk punch, grappa, green tea, lemon, lavender and mint) and a Mixed Autumn Leaves dish (with pear, lanchego, walnuts, kohlrabi, focaccia croutons and fresh ginger vinaigrette).

Restaurant Aleksandar

There are a few different cocktails to order up here in honor of the blooming soiree, including the Serbian Kiss (plum brandy, crème de violette, lemon and blueberry lavender), Paris is Burning (mezcal, gin, elderflower, lemon and pineapple) and more. Each cocktail reflects a different corner of Europe while celebrating the flowers, fruits, and herbs that connect continents.

The Twisted Tail

Aside from debuting a new floral cocktail (the Spring Fever,  composed of Hornitos Blanco, smoky Mezcal, and exotic Cachaça with grilled lemon), The Twisted Tail is also holding a cocktail competition in conjunction with the Philadelphia Flower Show. As a release notes, submissions open on Feb. 28, and the winner will be announced on the first day of spring (March 20). The crowned concoction will earn a spot on the menu, complete with credit to its creator.

Leo

Leo is marking the occasion with the addition of the Botanical 75 (Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose spirit, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, rose syrup and prosecco), plus a Lettuce dish (with whipped feta, bell pepper hot sauce and breadcrumbs). The locale is also serving up a “Tiny Sweets” assortment with carrot cake, polenta cake and gelée.

Darling Jacks Tavern 

For the Flower Show, Darling Jacks has opted to put a new sipper called Meadowlands on its menu. The cocktail (made with London dry gin, hibiscus syrup, ginger and lime) can be paired with crispy calamari, steak tartare, stuffed rotolo and more.
