Police in Philadelphia are looking for help to track down a man who they say attacked a victim with pepper spray during a “Rally for Venezuela” event that was held in Center City last month.
Law enforcement officials posted video from the incident on social media on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident happened at about 1:48 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2026, during a Rally for Venezuela that was being held along the 800 block of Market Street in Center City Philadelphia.
In this incident, officials said, the suspect assaulted a 22-year-old man with pepper spray.
The victim, officials said, suffered blurred vision and irritation to his eyes during this attack.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was listed in stable condition.
As could be seen in the footage that was shared by police, the suspect was assisted after the alleged attack.
Police believe that he sprayed himself with pepper spray during the incident, as well, officials told NBC10.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s or 40s, standing about five-foot, eight-inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. They also said he was wearing a red hooded jacket, tan pants and red and block “Solomon XT-6 sneakers at the time of the incident.
