6th Annual Stride for Pride | Lackawanna River Heritage Trail (Olive Street), Scranton

The 6th Annual Stride for Pride takes place on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM, bringing the community together for a family-friendly 5K run hosted by Queer NEPA in partnership with Action Together NEPA.

Participants will race along the scenic trail route, with options for runners and supporters of all ages. Children under 10 may participate for free when accompanied by a registered adult or guardian. Free participants are not guaranteed event T-shirts, and participation medals are available while supplies last.

A Virtual 5K option is also available for those who cannot attend in person. Virtual participants can run any time on Friday, June 5 or Saturday, June 6, 2026, then submit results to the timing team at Scranton Running Company. The virtual race will be scored, and results will be posted by Monday, June 8, 2026.

The trailhead and pavilion are pet-friendly, but pets must remain leashed. Pets are requested to stay off the course during the event.
