The Montessori Regional Charter School will host a Community Career Night on Feb. 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for community partners and families to explore the types of careers students can pursue in the future and how to obtain them. The event will be held at the school.
At the event attendees can speak to representatives from the YMCA of Greater Erie, The expERIEnce Children’s Museum, EC3, and Revox Media at their interactive booths. A presentation from The Nutrition Group, visit from a therapy dog, and the environmental program available at the school regarding the topic of trout.
“Here at Montessori Regional Charter School every child is given the opportunity to grow as a student academically, socially, and emotionally. Students are encouraged to engage in all subjects through hands-on learning using materials and manipulatives developed by Maria Montessori and in collaborative work that has relevant meaning and a fulfilling educational experience. MRCS Community Night is a wonderful opportunity to witness first-hand the educational experiences that all students engage in daily,” says Dr. Diane Pauli, School Principal.
All MRCS families and students are welcome to enjoy snacks, games, and prizes at the event.
The evening is open to MRCS families and students. Snacks, games and prizes will also be on hand.
