ALLENTOWN, Pa. – People are now able to buy tickets to a musical event celebrating America’s 250th birthday at Coca-Cola Park.
Individual tickets are now on sale for “Let Freedom Sing,” which will be held on May 27 at 7 p.m., according to a news release from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
The IronPigs and Bach Choir of Bethlehem are collaborating for the event which will unite over 5,000 voices from across the region, according to the news release.
The team says the event brings together adult, community, and school choirs from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties for an evening of patriotic music honoring the nation’s history.
Individual tickets may be purchased here. A special ‘Performance Package’ includes a ticket plus sheet music for the entire show for $20, the IronPigs said.
The team says the celebration emphasizes connection, pride, and shared heritage.
The history and roots of each song will be presented before its performance, helping to guide the audience through the historical nature of the evening, the IronPigs said.
The IronPigs say the show will be headlined by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, led by conductor Christopher Jackson.
The grand finale will bring all participants together in a community sing-along culminating with a fireworks display, according to the news release. Festivities will also include the IronPigs’ signature on-field entertainment, the team says.
