The Erie City Mission in partnership with Avery’s Pawsitive Change will work to support neighbors and their pets. On March 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. there will be a public lunch with the Erie City Mission’s Outreach Team distributing dog and cat food to attendees who request it.
Brian Johansson, CEO of the Erie City Mission shared why this partnership is meaningful to the Erie community. “Pets are an important part of many of our lives, and some are struggling to feed and take care of their pets. This will be a wonderful support to our neighbors in need.”
During the lunch guests can visit the Erie City Mission Chapel, no identification is required but a onetime release form may need to be completed. Official pet food distribution will take place on the first Monday of every month
