ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The unofficial election results are in for the 2026 special election that determines who represents parts of Allentown and Salisbury Township in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
As of 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, Democrat Ana Tiburcio led with 1,474 of votes, or 67.28% of the total, while Republican Robert E. Smith Jr. received 717 votes, or 32.72%.
“I’ve been living in District 22 and my issues are affordability, fair education and affordable housing. I’m here to fight for our families and to be the voice,” Ana Tiburcio says.
Tiburcio is a three-year Allentown school board member.
