SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – The Red Hot Chilli Pipers – an internationally renowned group of pipers, guitarists, keyboardists, and drummers — are coming back to the State Theatre in Easton next month, and some local students are helping to put on the show.

Kori Lotito from the State Theatre and some members of Liberty High School’s Pipes and Drums Corps visited 69 News at Sunrise Tuesday to talk about the event that’s set for March 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Lotito says the students play popular music, such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” with the bagpipes.

People of all ages can enjoy the show, she said. Show tickets are still available.

What does she hope people take away from the show?  It’s “just a fun time,” and an opportunity for people to see their community on stage, she said.

Lotito says the students are an integral part of the State Theatre show.
