LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Police are investigating what was only described as a contained incident that occurred early Wednesday morning near St. Joseph’s University’s campus.
Police said officers were in the area of Old Lancaster Road and City Avenue responding to the incident at about 6:15 a.m.
Authorities said the incident is contained and that there is no threat to the public.
Police did not share details on what happened, but Action News and Fox29 both report the incident was a shooting.
