Mountain Home NJROTC’s two-game winning streak in the 2026 National Air Rifle New Shooter League came to an end in Week 3 as Bensalem MCJROTC of Bensalem, Pa., rallied for a 1021-995.8 victory.
The Mountain Home squad, coached by Jason Williams, jumped out to a 16.6-point lead after the kneeling segment and carried an 8.9-point advantage through prone. But Bensalem erased the deficit in the standing portion, outscoring Mountain Home by 25.2 points in the most technically demanding position to pull away.
Aldyn Buterbaugh led Mountain Home with a 265.5. Bryan Williams, Kalem Warford and Kolby Spitzer rounded out the lineup.

The loss drops Mountain Home to 2-1 and No. 20 in the national standings. The league pairs teams by early-season performance, with each squad competing in eight regular-season matches over a 10-week schedule.
Mountain Home faces Selma MCJROTC next week.
