Up to $18,000 in scholarships will be invested to support Erie County women who are working on their education while strengthening the community.

Funding includes:
Next Chapter Scholarship – Up to Three $5,000 Scholarships ($15,000)
The AAUW Erie Next Chapter Scholarship will provide up to three $5,000 scholarships to Erie County women age 24 or older who are working toward their first undergraduate degree, having completed at least 24 college credits.
Refugee and Immigrant Scholarship Award (RISA) – Up to Two $1,500 Awards ($3,000) The AAUW Erie Refugee and Immigrant Scholarship Award (RISA) provides $1,500 scholarships to eligible women who are refugees or immigrants to the United States within the past 10 years and reside in Erie County.
