NEWTOWN, PA — The primary election is Tuesday, May 20, and Newtown, Upper Makefield and Wrightstown voters will be casting their ballots for municipal offices and in the race for the Council Rock School Board.
The election technically has already begun, as mail-in votes have started to return to Bucks County.
For the primary election, residents vote for contested and uncontested races for their Democratic and Republican parties. Some school board members are cross-filing in both parties. In those cases, if the candidate wins on both ballots on May 20 they will move on to November uncontested.
