READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals mascot “Slapshot” is making the rounds at Reading Hospital in West Reading.

He’s not diagnosing anything, just spreading smiles ahead of this Saturday’s “Pink in the Rink” game.

He wore a special jersey and toured the Mobile Mammography Coach to raise awareness about the importance of mammograms.

The “Pink in the Rink” game shines a light on breast cancer services in Berks County.

The first 1,500 fans will get a free Snuggie.
