The Archbald Winter Carnival provided plenty of fun amid rising temperatures. The event, rescheduled to Feb. 14 from Feb. 7 due to frigid cold, kicked off the borough’s 150th anniversary celebration.
With the carnival falling on Valentine’s Day, the event featured crafts and activities reflecting the holiday. The winter carnival also included carriage rides, outdoor game stations, crafts set up inside the borough building, fire pits, hot chocolate, s’mores and a touch-a-truck.
Archbald Borough and the Archbald Neighborhood Association partnered to host the event.
